Svar: I use a satin finish archival spray. Many people use a glossy finish archival spray. Four coats. Let them dry in between. Shake the can well before you start and always do a test spray before you go to your art piece. -

Svar: The board is a hard surface with a layer of India ink over the white clay board. Does not bend or crack like clay on a paper or foil surface. -

Svar: No, the boards are blank and you transfer your image onto it before scratching. You can trace an image onto the board using gray or white transfer paper. -

Can you use watercolor paint on the scratched off part? What about using copic markers?
Svar: Copic markers work, but watercolor paint does not work on the scratched off part of a scratch board.
