Users have positively reviewed this mount for its ease of installation and sturdy Construction, noting that it fulfills its intended purpose without any unnecessary frills. Most reviewers appreciated the inclusion of all necessary hardware, such as screws and anchors, paired with clear, concise instructions. Many found the installation process manageable, even for those who Consider themselves only moderately handy. The mount is designed with a simple aesthetic that blends well with the camera's black finish, contributing to an overall tidy appearance. While users mentioned the simplicity of its design, they did warn about the backing plate being made of thinner plastic, which necessitates careful handling during installation to avoid over-tightening. Importantly, users pointed out that the mount fits securely as long as it is installed correctly, emphasizing that it should be oriented right side up to prevent the camera from dislodging. However, there were some critical reviews highlighting discrepancies regarding the mount's compatibility with different versions of the SimpliSafe camera, suggesting some potential confusion for Prospective buyers.
