The Midas DM12 Mixer has garnered a range of experiences from users, highlighting both its strengths and weaknesses. Overall, the feedback suggests a divided reception among customers. On the positive side, many experienced audio engineers commend the mixer for its exceptional build quality, particularly praising the Midas input channels and its first-class EQ features. Users noted that the mixer delivers a dynamically open and detailed sound, often comparing its capabilities favorably against much pricier counterparts. Features like its shelving high and low EQs, coupled with semi-parametric mids, were highlighted as particularly effective in producing controllable signals, making it an appealing choice for those seeking a warm, analog sound in a digital age. The price-to-quality ratio has also received acclaim, with several reviewers emphasizing that it offers outstanding value compared to more established brands. Conversely, there have been significant concerns regarding reliability. Multiple users reported issues with channels malfunctioning shortly after purchase or having problems with input/output connections, particularly with the aux functionality. These experiences of technical difficulties appear to overshadow the positive impressions for some customers, leading to frustration among users who expected more from a Midas product. In summary, the Midas DM12 Mixer is celebrated for its quality sound and affordable price, making it a compelling option for both budding and seasoned audio engineers. However, potential buyers are cautioned to Consider the mixed reliability feedback, which could impact the overall user experience. **
