Alimat PluS Container Sets Editorial Review

The Alimat PluS Silicone Food Storage Containers are a convenient and space-saving option for storing food. The collapsible design allows for easy storage when not in use, eliminating the need for bulky containers cluttering up your cupboards. The lids of these containers fit well and clip securely, ensuring that your food stays fresh and protected. They are also microwave-proof, making it convenient to reheat leftovers. However, it is important to note that several customers have mentioned that pressing down on the lid can cause the sides of the container to collapse, potentially squashing the food inside. Some customers have expressed disappointment with the quality of the product, with one reviewer experiencing a lid breaking after just one use. It is worth noting that they have also found the containers to be too big for single portions and too small for two adult portions. The main concern raised by customers is the smell and flavor transfer of the rubber material. Users have reported that the food placed in these containers can take on a rubbery taste, limiting their usefulness for storing certain types of foods, particularly tomato-based or curry dishes. Despite these drawbacks, the Alimat PluS Silicone Food Storage Containers have been praised for their space-saving design and ability to keep food fresh. They are also Considered environmentally friendly and recyclable, as they reduce the need for single-use plastic containers.
