According to one customer, they have it on a wooden floor by their front door and it doesn't move. This suggests that the mat has good gripping capabilities and stays in place. Another question asked is whether the mat can be put in a tumble dryer. A customer responded that they would not think so, as the mat has a rubber backing and the instructions state to wash it in cold water. This suggests that the mat should be air dried to avoid damaging the rubber backing. Customers have also inquired about the mat's smell. One customer mentioned that they have two of these mats and neither of them smell. They also confirmed that the mats are washable, ensuring that any odors can be easily removed. Additionally, customers have asked if the mat can be used on top of a hall carpet inside a front door. One customer responded that they believe it can, as they have tried it on top of a fitted carpet and it looks fine. They also note that the diamond-shaped backing keeps the mat anchored. On the topic of creases, a customer asked how to remove them if they don't have a tumble dryer. Another customer advised simply leaving the mat flat to dry and walking on it a few times to flatten it out. This suggests that the creases should naturally disappear with time and use. In terms of reviews, the majority of customers are satisfied with their purchase. They appreciate that the mat is super soft and absorbent. Some customers have mentioned that they had no issues with the mat not flattening out, contrary to what other reviews may have suggested. Others have found the mat to be durable and effective in absorbing water. However, there are a few negative reviews. One customer mentioned that the mat is not non-slip as advertised.
