The Bekasa 5-in-1 Air Quality Detector has garnered a mixed reception from customers, with fundamental concerns expressed regarding its accuracy and reliability. While some users acknowledge its appealing design and initial functionality, the predominant feedback highlights significant drawbacks that jeopardize its intended use. A major point of contention is its purported ability to measure carbon dioxide (CO2). Several customers have reported discrepancies in readings, claiming the device seems to detect ethanol instead, raising serious safety concerns. One buyer expressed strong disappointment, labeling the detector as a "complete sham" and warning others to steer clear due to its potential misrepresentation. Additionally, several customers reported issues with the device's battery life, stating that it only holds a charge for a few hours, necessitating a continuous power connection. This limitation has led to dissatisfaction, particularly among those who intended to use the sensor in portable settings, like camper vans. Furthermore, long-term reliability is in question as some users experienced failures after a year of use, with critical measurements ceasing to operate. Despite these significant issues, there are some positive remarks about the product's aesthetic appeal and the fact that it works in terms of functionality. However, the overall sentiment is one of caution; many users recommend avoiding this detector due to its inaccurate readings and battery concerns. **
