Is this a complete key?

No, this is just the shell for the keyless entry remote smart key fob. No electronics or circuit board is included.

Do I need to reprogram the key after installation?

No, reprogramming is not required. You must transfer over your original components into this case.

Will this fit my smart key?

Please confirm that your original smart key has the same FCC ID: M3N-A2C31243800 part number to confirm this is the correct case. This case will only fit a smart key NOT the flip key style remote.

Does this include the 5 buttons that you press to operate the FOB?

Yes, but the button springs are not as strong as the ones on the factory key fob.

Does this work for key #a2c31227300 mine is from a 2013 ford fusion.

Yes, bought for my 2013 fusion titanium. This is only the outer case though you have to transfer guts from old key. This is not a replacement complete remote.

Will this work with a 2017 ford fusion SE?

This device is only a shell for your current key. You are best off getting a shell that is the same type as the key you have. This does not include any of the internal pieces of a fob. Shell only. If your current key looks like this, it will likely fit.

Will it work with 2018 mustang?

Just a note, these are not complete remotes, they are replacement outer casings. You have to transfer the inside workings of your remote into them. So if you are looking for a replacement outside casing and your remote looks like these then yes the casings will work. They are not replacement remotes, just outer casings.

Is the Ford Logo on the back?

No but you can keep your logo if only part of your key is broken.

Will it fit 2015 F150?

If your key looks the same then yes.

Will this work on manual Ford Mustang?

See my previous answer: this is not a full remote, only replacement outer casing.

KeylessOption Editorial Review

The KeylessOption key fob replacement has garnered a mixed response from users, highlighting both its affordability and certain quality concerns. Many customers appreciate the significant savings compared to original Ford products, with several reporting that it worked perfectly after minor adjustments. The ease of transferring the circuit board from the original fob to the new case is another point frequently mentioned in positive reviews, suggesting that even those with basic DIY skills can handle the installation. However, some buyers have raised flags regarding the manufacturing quality. A few users experienced issues that needed additional adjustments or modifications, like altering battery contacts and using original parts for proper functionality. Additionally, a significant concern involved the durability of the fob, with reports of components breaking easily or not fitting as expected. This has led to some skepticism regarding the long-term reliability of the product. In summary, the KeylessOption key fob offers an attractive and cost-effective alternative to OEM fobs, especially for those willing to tackle minor adjustments. Nevertheless, potential buyers should Consider the reported challenges and weigh them against their need for a temporary versus durable solution. **
