Comedy Editorial Review

What We Do in the Shadows What We Do in the Shadows is a hilarious Australian comedy that has become a cult classic of its time. The movie, directed by Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement, lays a solid foundation for the much better TV show of the same name. The film follows the lives of a group of vampire roommates who are struggling to adapt to modern society. With dry humor reminiscent of British comedy, the movie may be seen as slow-paced for some viewers. However, for those who appreciate this style of humor, it is a true gem. The movie is praised for its witty dialogue and memorable characters. Many fans report quoting lines from the movie with their friends and partners. It has a unique charm that has made it a favorite among many viewers. The success of the movie has led to a spin-off TV show, which is highly recommended to watch after seeing the film. The series builds upon the ideas established in the movie and features some of the same cast members, including Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. Overall, What We Do in the Shadows is a must-watch for fans of Australian comedy and dry humor. While some may find it slow, it has become a beloved movie of the 2000s and has gained a dedicated following. If you enjoy the film, be sure to check out the TV show as well.
