The unit doesn't seem to have a fan and works fine, especially if a user has 2.5" SSD or old 3.5" SATA hard drives that they would like to read. Windows thinks that WD Blue 6TB HDDs are SSDs, which Sabrent acknowledged, but they refuse to fix it. Another customer noted that this station does not work if to be used to access a program that would only launch on the old computer.
