Nonetheless, you can use the device as a Plex server, although it is not a particularly powerful unit. The device has two built-in fans that operate quietly, and there's room for airflows. However, the device is cheaply made, mainly plastic build, except for the internal drive bay cage. It comes with only two 1 Gbe ports, which is sufficient for typical home network servers. Still, it maxes out at approximately 112 MBps transfer speeds, unless you use link aggregation.
