What is Tenax TIGER AGER used for?

Tenax TIGER AGER is a powerful enhancing treatment specifically formulated for stone surfaces such as granite, marble, and limestone. It deepens the color and enhances the natural beauty of these materials by effectively penetrating and treating the stone. This product is ideal for both professional stone fabricators and DIY enthusiasts looking to achieve a showroom-quality finish and to protect their surfaces from stains, making it a must-have for everyday maintenance or restoration projects.

How do you apply Tenax TIGER AGER?

Applying Tenax TIGER AGER is straightforward: First, ensure the surface is clean and dry. Then, using a soft cloth or applicator, spread the product evenly over the stone. Allow it to penetrate for about 15-20 minutes. After this time, wipe off any excess with a clean cloth. This method ensures effective application, enhancing the stone's color while providing a protective barrier against stains. Use this product regularly for maintenance to keep your surfaces looking vibrant and protected.

Is Tenax TIGER AGER safe for all types of stone?

Yes, Tenax TIGER AGER is designed to be safe for most natural stones, including granite, marble, and other porous surfaces. It enhances their appearance without damaging the material. However, it is always advisable to test the product on a small, inconspicuous area before full application, especially on sensitive stones, to ensure compatibility. This precaution helps to avoid unexpected results, allowing you to maintain the natural beauty and integrity of your stone surfaces.

Can you use Tenax TIGER AGER on polished surfaces?

Absolutely, Tenax TIGER AGER is suitable for polished surfaces. It not only enhances the natural colors of the stone but can also renew and maintain the gloss of polished surfaces. By regularly using this product, you protect the shine from dulling agents and environmental factors. For best results, it's recommended to follow the product’s specific application guidelines and regularly maintain your polished surfaces to keep them looking pristine.

How long does the effect of Tenax TIGER AGER last?

The effects of Tenax TIGER AGER can last for several months, depending on the type of stone, its porosity, and environmental exposure. Regular maintenance applications will help to prolong the treatment and keep your surfaces protected and vibrant. Consider using this product every few months or as needed in high-traffic areas or spaces exposed to moisture and staining agents. This is an excellent strategy to ensure your stone retains its beauty over time.

Can Tenax TIGER AGER be used outdoors?

Yes, Tenax TIGER AGER can be used on outdoor surfaces such as patios, countertops, and garden stones. It helps protect these surfaces from the elements while enhancing their color and beauty. For outdoor applications, it's particularly important to apply the product during dry weather to ensure optimal penetration and effectiveness. Regular maintenance will maintain the protective qualities, making your outdoor stone surfaces stand out beautifully throughout the year.

Does Tenax TIGER AGER provide stain protection?

Yes, Tenax TIGER AGER is specifically designed to provide excellent stain protection for stone surfaces. Its unique formulation creates a protective barrier that helps prevent liquids from penetrating into the stone, thereby reducing the risk of staining from food, beverages, and other substances. This makes it an essential product for kitchens and dining areas, where spillage is common. Applying the product will not only enhance the stone's appearance but also safeguard your investment.

Is it necessary to seal stone surfaces after using Tenax TIGER AGER?

Using Tenax TIGER AGER does not necessarily require an additional sealant, as it contains properties that provide a level of protection. However, if you desire enhanced protection or if the stone is particularly porous, applying a sealant after treatment can offer further safeguarding against staining and wear. Evaluate the needs of your specific stone surface to make an informed decision about whether an additional sealant is warranted.

Can Tenax TIGER AGER be used on marble countertops?

Yes, Tenax TIGER AGER is an excellent choice for marble countertops. It enhances the natural luster and color of the marble while protecting it from stains and spills. Applying it regularly ensures that your countertop remains vibrant and is protected against the high traffic of family kitchens. This is particularly useful in preventing etching from acidic substances, thereby maintaining the integrity and beauty of the marble over time.
