What are Bones Wheels Medium Bushings used for?

Bones Wheels Medium Bushings are designed to enhance the performance of your skateboard by providing optimal cushion and stability. They help in improving the turning response of your skateboard, making rides smoother. With medium hardness, they strike a balance between flexibility and stiffness, making them ideal for both street and park skating.

How do I know if I need medium bushings?

Medium bushings are suitable for skaters who prefer a balance between responsiveness and comfort. If you enjoy tricks and need to make quick turns while also wanting a cushioned feel during landings, medium bushings are an excellent choice. To determine the right hardness, consider your weight and skating style, as heavier skaters or those using aggressive techniques might need stiffer bushings.

Can I use Bones Wheels Medium Bushings on any skateboard?

Bones Wheels Medium Bushings are versatile and can be used with most skateboard trucks that accommodate standard-sized bushings. Make sure your truck setup matches the specifications for the bushings you intend to use. If unsure, check the manufacturer's recommendations on your trucks to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.

How do I install Bones Wheels Medium Bushings?

To install Bones Wheels Medium Bushings, you'll need to disassemble your skateboard truck. Remove the nut from the kingpin, take off the truck, and replace the old bushings with the new ones. Make sure to align them correctly and reassemble the truck while tightening the nut just enough to avoid excessive play, allowing for maximum performance.

Are Bones Wheels Medium Bushings suitable for beginners?

Yes, Bones Wheels Medium Bushings are a great option for beginners as they provide a balanced feel, enhancing stability while still allowing for easy turning. This combination makes them suitable for new skaters learning to navigate their boards. As you gain confidence and experience, you can evaluate if you want to switch to softer or harder bushings based on your style.

What materials are Bones Wheels Medium Bushings made from?

Bones Wheels Medium Bushings are made from high-quality urethane, a material known for its durability and elasticity. This composition allows the bushings to withstand heavy impact while providing the necessary rebound for a dynamic skating experience. Urethane's resilience ensures that the bushings maintain their performance over time, making them a reliable choice for skaters.

How do Bones Wheels Medium Bushings affect my skating experience?

Using Bones Wheels Medium Bushings can significantly improve your overall skating experience by offering enhanced maneuverability and comfort. They provide the right balance of softness and resistance, allowing for smoother transitions and turns. Whether you're cruising around the park or trying to master tricks, the bushings adapt to your movements, making your ride more enjoyable.

Do Bones Wheels Medium Bushings come in different colors?

Yes, Bones Wheels Medium Bushings are available in a variety of colors, allowing you to customize your skateboard's aesthetic. While the color does not affect performance, it can be a fun way to match your setup or showcase your personal style. Many skaters enjoy mixing and matching colors for a unique look while ensuring they have the right equipment for optimal performance.

How long do Bones Wheels Medium Bushings last?

The longevity of Bones Wheels Medium Bushings depends on several factors, such as your skating style, frequency of use, and weight. Typically, they can last for several months of regular skating. Heavy impacts, aggressive tricks, and rough terrain may wear them out faster. Regularly check for signs of wear, such as squishing or changes in responsiveness, to ensure optimal performance.
