It effectively targets a range of pests, including mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, and mites, making it a popular choice for agricultural, veterinary, and household use. This product can be applied to livestock, and premises as it disrupts the nervous systems of these insects while remaining safe for animals when used as directed.

How do I apply Durvet Permethrin 10%?

Applying Durvet Permethrin 10% requires careful adherence to the instructions provided on the label. Generally, it involves diluting the solution with water to the appropriate concentration and using a sprayer to evenly coat the targeted areas. For livestock, this may involve applying the spray directly to the animal's coat to treat infestations. It is crucial to follow the dosage instructions to ensure effectiveness while maintaining safety for both animals and humans.

Is Durvet Permethrin safe for pets?

Durvet Permethrin 10% can be used safely around pets when applied according to the recommended guidelines. However, it is specifically formulated for use on livestock, and care should be exercised to avoid direct application on cats and certain other pets, as they can be more sensitive to permethrin. It's advisable to consult with a veterinarian before using this product in households with small animals to ensure their safety and health.

Can Durvet Permethrin 10% be used indoors?

Durvet Permethrin 10% is primarily designed for outdoor use; however, some applications can be suitable for indoor use in specific scenarios. How long does the effect of Durvet Permethrin last?

The effectiveness of Durvet Permethrin 10% can vary based on the application method and environmental conditions, but typically, its residual activity lasts for several weeks.
