ATP Y-802 Speedometer Cable | Fits Select American

**** The customer experience with this product has been mixed, with a notable division between those who found it effective and those who encountered significant issues with fit. While some users managed to successfully replace and restore the functionality of components in their vehicles, others expressed dissatisfaction due to incorrect sizing and compatibility claims. One user highlighted the success of the product in fixing the odometer of an '88 Comanche, pointing out its basic functionality as the primary benefit. However, others were substantially less fortunate; complaints surfaced regarding the cable's incompatibility with specific models, notably the Smith Replica speedometers, and manual versus automatic transmission discrepancies that were not adequately addressed in product descriptions. Moreover, some customers voiced concerns about the durability of the cable compared to OEM parts, especially regarding performance in extreme engine temperatures. The feedback regarding issues related to how well the cable fits different makes and models suggests that potential buyers should approach with caution, verifying compatibility before purchasing. Overall, while this product does deliver satisfactory results for some users, the prevalent issues with fit and durability raise caution for potential buyers. **
