The Water Effects 8oz is a great product for creating wave and splash effects. When applied in thin coats, it provides realistic results. However, applying it too thick can result in a messy outcome. It takes about 36-48 hours to fully dry. It can be used with Realistic Water to create a large water splash, by coating bristles with Water Effects to simulate rising water. This product does not shrink as it dries and becomes a hard solid. It can also be used to suspend artificial fish in a small fishbowl. Food coloring can be added, but it is recommended to do a test before applying it to the scenery. It is comparable to Vallejo Still Water. It should not be used outdoors in hot weather unless it is completely dried. The Water Effects does not have a color and can be applied over any underlayment color.
